If you have been looking at our packages, you can see that we have taken all the elements of a professional recording and broken them down in to logical parts and priced them to save you money. If you added up all the packages:
1. Sweet Single Enhanced $140
2. The Sweet Singer $60
3. Icing on the Cake [from $30.00 to $90.00] if in-house musicians are used.
4. Harmonies Please $75
You arrive at the grand total of $365.00 Consider what it would cost to hire a band, and then take it in to a medium or large studio at the going rate of $50 to $75 an hour to track your song. Consider that just to create The Sweet Single package which includes four tracks of instrumentation, up to 6 hours can easily be spent to ensure quality and precission in the creation of your track. You save lots of money.
We don't bang out junk here at Affordable Studio Services. It's not good to slander other businesses. Everyone has to make a living but we will share a little secret with you [our customer.] We have heard so-called professional work come out of big-name studios that we would be ashamed to put our name on. We have seen exhorbitant prices charged for work which should have been priced for much less.
If you have an ear for music, you know the difference between a thrown together, get-by shoddy work, and a well-crafted, tight, well executed track. It doesn't have to be complex, but things like timing, feeling, and attention to detail are what make the difference between quality and junk. It doesn't take a million dollar facility to create a master-piece. No doubt, good gear helps. But what is most important is a talented artist, and a studio/recording engineer who has experience with his gear, and who cares about what's comming out of the speakers. If your not satisfied, we're not satisfied. It's as simple as that. We have to make a living but the [All Mighty Dollar] isn't the bottom line. We don't have company executives breathing down our neck to produce more, cut hours and make more money.
One reason we started Affordable Studio Services was the frustration we experienced when we first got in to the music Biz.
Our first demos we made at large facilities were disappointing to say the least.
There was no time to do anything but walk in, record, and walk out.
In those days, small project studios were not as available, there were mostly larger facilities.
In order to do some of the wonderful things we take for granted today, we had to hire bands, practice, and pay studio musicians to go in and create our tracks.
Midi, and sampling libraries, and virtual instruments had not come on the scene.
Twenty-Four tracks was the limit, and that was usually in the best more expensive rooms.
Computer manipulation of audio and cd production was science-fiction.
Well, the musical and production universe has changed greatly through the years. In some ways, it has gotten better, in other ways, it is not so good.
Our Heavenly Father made us, and he made us to be creative like himself.
We wanted an environment where we could do just that, be creative without having to watch the clock and worry about our wallets.
We wanted to help others do the same.
